Below is a commissioned wall hanging/curtain that I completed last week. The plan is to hang it in bathroom in a house that is situated high on a ridge looking over the treetops. I had hoped to photograph it on the wall in its new home, but this will have to do. The silk noil panels were dyed with commercial dyes and the vines and leaves were hand-stitched with silk threads. The overall size is 83″ x 53″. The raw silk is nice because it is soft but still allows the colors to glow.
