I don’t know who this block is for: could be a mill wheel for Grandmother Dorothy, whose family had a mill in New Jersey before the War for Independence. Or it could be Matilda’s spinning wheel upon which fibers of cotton were spun into thread for weaving in the backwoods of East Tennessee. Or maybe the spin of a hurricane that destroyed homes and businesses in Florida. Or a wagon wheel moving along a westward trail to a new home over the mountains.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DIANA!
