This morning i harvested goldenrod flowers for making a dyebath.  By next weekend they may be gone.   There was so much to be had that i am only using the yellow tops, which i have cut and put in a pan to soak until i am ready to start cooking later today.

By the way, i have heard reports that ragweed is really bad this year.  Goldenrod is not ragweed and does not cause the allergic reactions nearly as much as ragweed does.

I have had breathing trouble for nearly 4 weeks, but i know the goldenrod is ok for me to work with because i have been doing it for over ten years.
