I could not find a name for this exact quilt design, so for now I am calling it “Missouri Beauty”.  And I do think it is beautiful.  However, a retrever/poodle mix still has, at age 1 1/2, a need to chew.  Thus it landed on my worktable.    

Damaged edge.

  1. I’ve heard this pattern called “circular saw” after the blades used in sawmills (Virginia). That’s a beautiful quilt; I made one similar to it some time ago, taking the pattern off of an old one made sometime before 1920.
