Below is photo at Martin’s Station in Southwest Virginia; set up of fence to keep visitors out of the demo area, but allows touching of samples.
Fiber Samples: 36 hanging discs with 1-4 samples attached, front has name if dyestuff, back has name of fiber; fibers include hemp, linen, wool, silk and cotton (not every fiber is represented for every dye).
Below, the Bottles: sealed with a cork and brass wire securing the cork effectively
Mordant Samples: Alum, Copperas, Blue Vitriol, Tannic Acid
Dyestuff samples: Sumac Berries, Osage Orange Sawdust Sawdust, Yellow Onion Skins, Sassafras Bark, Walnut Hulls, Bloodroot, Matter Root, Logwood, Cutch, Cochineal, and Brazilwood.

Description: 10 square forged nails, 5″ high. Wood is 28″ long, 6 1/2 ” wide, 1 1/2 ” thick. Holes on either end of wood so that it can be placed on a table or bench on pegs to stabilize.
